Each year, the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo offers more than a showcase of new ideas, it offers perspective. It’s a space where those shaping the future of healthcare design come together to ask deeper questions about what it means to create places that truly care for people.
For Wieland, participating in these conversations goes beyond innovation. It reminds us why design matters: to serve people well, foster meaningful collaboration, and make a lasting difference in the spaces where care happens.
Designing with Purpose, Together
Our continued partnership with CF Stinson was one of the highlights of this year’s show. Together, we introduced their Hyphyn biodegradable fabric line, a collection that embodies the future of responsible material design.
What makes this partnership meaningful is not just innovation, but alignment. CF Stinson’s focus on sustainable performance mirrors our own pursuit of thoughtful, lasting furniture solutions. By featuring Hyphyn in our displays, we celebrated a shared belief that sustainability isn’t a separate initiative—it’s an integral part of caring for people and the environments they inhabit.
Furniture that Reflects the Rhythm of Care
We also unveiled two new products that represent the evolution of that belief.
The Naomi Glider was designed to move in rhythm with caregiving experiences supporting mothers, babies, and families through moments of rest and connection. Its gentle motion and continuous ottoman embody the comfort and reassurance that belong in maternity and family spaces.
The Amari Recliner with Exam Lift Option builds on one of our most trusted designs, extending comfort into clinical performance. The lift function brings the seat to exam height, easing caregiver interaction and patient transition. Every detail reflects our ongoing focus on improving the moments where care happens.
These products mark more than what’s new in our portfolio. They represent the values guiding our work: empathy, usability, and the belief that design should adapt to the people who use it.
Connection as the Common Thread
Throughout the conference, we were reminded that progress in healthcare design doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s built through partnerships—with designers, dealers, architects, and industry peers who share the goal of creating environments where care can flourish.
Those conversations are the foundation of our innovation. They challenge us to listen, learn, and design furniture that responds to real needs. Events such as Healthcare Design keep us close to the people shaping the future of healthcare environments, and they remind us that every design choice has a human outcome.
As we look ahead, we’re grateful for the collaboration, curiosity, and care that defines this community. Together, we continue to design furniture for the people whose lives are touched by it.
